Charles O. Holliday, Jr., Chairman and CEO of DuPont

Chad Holliday has been CEO of DuPont from 1998 to the present, and Chairman since 1999. Under his direction, DuPont established the mission to achieve sustainable growth increasing shareholder and societal value while decreasing the company's environmental footprint. As a result, DuPont has moved from being a chemical company to being a science-based products and services company. Since 1990 DuPont has reduced its GHG emissions by 72%. Chad is currently chair of the Board of Directors of Catalyst. In addition, he is chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council. In 2004, he was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He became chairman of the Business Roundtable's Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy the same year. Chad is also past chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), The Business Council, and the Society of Chemical Industry American Section. While chairman of the WBCSD, Chad co-authored a book Walking the Talk which details the business case for sustainable development and corporate responsibility. He participates in several global working groups to develop strategies and policies to reduce the impacts of climate change.

Miranda Anderson, Director, Wal-Mart Corporate Affairs, Sustainability

Miranda A. Anderson is Wal-Mart Director of Corporate Affairs for Sustainability, where she facilitates the company partnerships with NGOs, social investors, government representatives, Wal-Mart associates and customers, and other interested groups. Ms. Anderson works with Wal-Mart Sustainable Value Networks to leverage the expertise of stakeholder groups to expand Wal-Mart capacity to help our customers Save Money and Live Better by increasing the sustainability of the company 61,000 suppliers and 1.9 million associates. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Ms. Anderson was Vice President at David Gardiner & Associates, an environmental strategy and research firm based in Washington, DC, where she advised global corporations and NGOs on environmental and climate change strategies. Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University, specializing in Environmental Management and Policy.

Ken Zweibel, Recent President & Senior PV Technologist, PrimeStar Solar

Ken Zweibel was the President and then Senior PV Technologist of PrimeStar Solar of Golden, Colorado and has served as the Manager of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Thin Film PV Partnership, and its 5 National R&D Teams (about 200 members) in CdTe, CIS, a-Si, Module Reliability, and ES&H. Ken has substantial experience interacting with PV companies, universities, utilities, Department of Energy and NREL, has been an active participant in key DOE assessments of PV and renewable energy and has authored or co-authored numerous publications (including two books), interviews, and presentations concerning PV and policy issues. His latest article was published in Scientific American in January, 2008, entitled Solar Grand Plan. He is an internationally known authority on thin film PV, including perspectives on research, energy, and the environment and on key cost and performance drivers in thin film cells and modules. At PrimeStar, Ken was instrumental in setting the technical direction for t he company (CdTe) and helped define the best technical path to successful commercial production (device design and processing), while helping to attract the necessary financing and technical staff for corporate success.
